The story

Tagoo is a rocky stretch of coast just north of Mykonos Town. In 1985 a hotel was built here on top of an abandoned quarry, its rooms stepped down the hillside so that most of them look out over the sea towards town and the islands beyond.

Cavo Tagoo was extensively renovated in 2005 and again in 2018. The look is classic Cycladic white, softened with natural materials and island art, and the rooms, suites and villas are each decorated differently.

Its signature is the pool: a long saltwater infinity pool with colour-changing lights at night and a bar built around an aquarium. Over the years it has become one of the island’s best-known places for a sunset drink.
